OUR STORY

Brogans Butchers was first established by a young Michael Brogan who came to Athboy from Trim in 1908. Passed down through the generations it is now owned and run by his great grandson also Michael. Our Butchers is a true farm to fork experience with an EC approved Abattoir, supplied by our own farm which has been the backbone of the business for generations.

Our Shop

Using traditional methods handed down through generations combined with modern skills our butchers are highly knowledgeable which results in the best quality Dry Aged Beef, Lamb, Pork and Chicken.

Continuously looking for innovative ways to improve our business, we completely refurbished our shop in 2017.

This allowed us to improve our in store experience and gave us the space to extend our product range to include a vast range of ready to cook meals, produced daily in house by our team. We also carry a fantastic selection of local and national Artisan products which are the perfect accompaniment to our fresh products.
